Overview
This website uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics. Fonts and code libraries are served from this website’s own server, not from third parties. Personal data only arises when you visit the site (server log files) or send me an email.
Hosting
This website is hosted by netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany. netcup processes the data arising from visits on my behalf. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with netcup.
Server log files
With every visit, the web server automatically stores information your browser transmits:
- IP address
- date and time of access
- requested address and referrer URL
- amount of data transferred and HTTP status code
- browser and operating system
This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure and stable. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is secure and reliable operation. Log files are not combined with other data and are deleted once they are no longer needed for this purpose.
Contact by email
If you email me, I process your details (email address, name and message) to answer your enquiry. If it concerns a possible or ongoing project, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. I delete the data once the enquiry is settled, unless statutory retention duties, for example under commercial and tax law, require otherwise.
The selection in the builder stays in your browser and is neither stored nor transmitted. It only appears as a suggestion in the text when you start an email using the button.
Cookies, tracking and third parties
This website sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser’s storage and uses no analytics or marketing services. Fonts and the 3D graphics (three.js) are served by this website’s own server. No connections are made to Google Fonts, content delivery networks or other third parties during your visit.
TLS encryption
For security reasons this website is transmitted encrypted. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
